How Drake Became Famous

How Drake's Fame All Started

In our world today rap music has gotten very popular, then it was maybe even five years ago. One particular music artist that falls under that category of music would be Drake, but what inspired him to get into that kind of field of music? Beginning with, Drake started being an actor in the show “Degrassi.” While he was in the show, Drake really already has a passion for rap.

Throughout his time on the show he didn’t really get to show it, until he met this one girl Ally. This one Ally then became something more to Drake, because she was very into rap music as well. Drake and Ally then began to date, and soon came up with their own song.

Although they made the song, they didn’t want anyone to hear it, but that didn’t happen like they wanted to. Somehow is got to the school, and they school then played their song. At first Drake and his girlfriend were very embarrassed about the whole song, and everyone at school hearing it. But they were worried for nothing, because about more than half the school ended up loving there song, in fact they kept coming up to them and telling them how good it was. Even though Drake liked rapping, he did it for fun, not for someone big to find him and start a career.

One of the most famous rappers, would have to be Lil Wayne. Drake loved to post his videos on YouTube just for fun, he didn’t mean for anything to happen by it. Until one day, when Lil Wayne, probably one of his favorite artist happened to find his video on YouTube. Lil Wayne ended up really enjoying his song, and he kept finding a couple more songs to get to explore him a little more.

He ended up going to the Young Money Label, which is a group of rapper, to perform a song by Drake. After the performance, all the rappers in the Young Money Label, was blown away. They all thought that Drake’s song was outstanding, and agreed that they wanted him to join their YMCMB which is short for  Young Money Cash Money Billionaire  group.

Prediction

My prediction was wrong. I thought Dale was pretending that he changed when Mr. Jones took him in his classroom after school one day. I thought Troy was going to do the same and pretend like he had changed. But I was wrong Dale had nothing to act out, he was officially changed. I thought that Dale was pretending to be changed just to try to get Troy to be quiet in Mr. Jones classroom and not be a big mouth in that class. What I think is going to happen next is that Molly is going to try everything and anything to try and get Troy and Dale back how they use to be, outgoing and non boring. I think Molly will do anything to try to get them back how they where because she seemed like she really liked/ got along with Troy. Also try to get Dale back because he seemed like a very good friend of Molly.

In the book “Touching Spirit Bear” the main  character is Cole. Cole is a very disrespectful child and has no manners nor respect for anyone including his own mom and dad. When he goes around school showing off that he robbed a shop one of the high school kids hears him, and goes snitches on him. Cole find’s out the high scholar snitched on him. As soon as e see’s him he start’s beating him. Cole get’s in huge trouble and has to go to jail for the first time for one full year. That’s when Cole’s world turns upside down.

Cole’s parents tried to get Cole out of jail, so they thought they could just pay off money and get him out. This time it didn’t work. He officially had to be in jail for 1 year. Cole just wasn’t sure  how could make it in jail that long. Throughout the book a sweet helper goes visit’s Cole named Garvery. Garvery is very nice to Cole and very patient towards Cole.

Garvery mentions something about “Circle” as he explains what you do and for how long you need to do it for, Cole get’s very interested in it. He’d rather much do the “circle thingy”than be stuck in jail for 1 whole year. They accept him and let him do “the circle thingy”.

Once he gets there Cole’s anger and everything that had happened in his past and that he’s going trough now. He let’s his anger on his supplies to survive at the Island. He now has no food no shelter no nothing. As he takes a walk after he burns down his supplies he find’s this very un common bear that Garvery had mentioned to him before called a “touching spirit bear”

He get’s closer and closer to him as he does Cole try’s to hurt him but that doesn’t work, the bear fight’s back. Cole looses next thing you know, he’s in the hospital. He’s there for about 1 month. He get’s permanent damages in his body. But he refuses, he wants to go back to the Island. Something about the bear that made him realize his attitude towards everyone that need’s to change so it does. He was no longer the bad kid.
