The It

The It

In the book A lost boy, it is written by Dave Pelzer by his point of view. From David’s perspective, everyone doesn’t understand him. He wishes someone would just understand him for once. The littlest things people do for him, he’s very thankful for. David hates his mother with a burning passion.

One way that David’s point of view influence’s the readers interpretation is his mother. She is very abusive towards David, she has put him through a lot. To her David is known as in “It”

My Brother Is Dead

Author's note; We all want freedom don't we? So then we shall fight for it,

My Brother Is Dead

The book called “My Brother Sam Is Dead” and the movie called “The Patriot” they have many things in common. Example they both have many struggles. In the movie and in the book. Many old and even young man had to leave there family’s behind. Could you imagine leaving your family all of a sudden to fight for your country? With no experience. In this essay you will read more about me comparing a book and a movie called "The Patriot" and a book called "My Brother Sam Is Dead".

Sam, the main character in the book wants to go to war but his father refuses for him to go. He thinks he's to young to go to war. Same thing in the movie "The Patriot" Gabriel wants to go to war but his dad begs him not to go. He leave's anyways he ends up being in the war for about 3 years. Gabriel has really good luck in war and is very positive.

During the war the American's where losing. They got the British to help them, I believe that’s the only reason why they won the war. The British didn’t decide to help them until the very end. That’s when they saw they where winning the war.

In the very end of the movie. Gabriel and his second oldest son died. The others got there freedom and lived happily ever after. With of course the rest of there family. "My Brother Sam Is Dead", Sam ends up dying on the very last chapter he gets shot by many shoulders. Yet he was still living. One of the shoulders ended up walking up to him and shot him right from the back of his head.

The book I read & the movie I watched I saw that the American's went trough many struggles. Many people died. Lots of hearts where broken too. I think the American's where honestly very brave for fighting for us. Even when they saw themselves almost losing the war. But they didn’t stop they kept fighting.
